Did not get very good service on 9/24/2016 when my car had to be towed to the rental agency because of a significant and dangerous problem with the car. The first clerk could do nothing and told me I had to go back to Charleston, WV (where I came from) to return the car and close the contract. After nearly an hour the manager Nick Balnionis came in. He closed the contract, without speaking to me at all. He up charged me for one way destination because I didn't turn the car into the original agency, 300 miles further down the road. Additional up charge of $9.50/gal to fill the tank. Both of these charges were reversed by Avis Corporation. I filed a complaint with Avis Corporation about the poor service.
Nick is the most helpful person I've ever encountered at a rental car company, and I fly into this airport about once a month. I have used the other companies in the past but recently decided to use Avis all the time now, because of the help Nick has given me when my plane has been late or delayed.
AVIS offered the cheapest one-way rates out of all the companies in this airport. I was happy with my rental. The staff were friendly and called me to confirm my rental.
