What's really sad about this? There were no other customers. Just my wife and I. I can't imagine how it would have been had there been others.
First off served unsweetened tea when asked for sweet, asked for bread she says “ I don’t think we have any”, brings salad and then have to ask her take away plates when she finally came out with our food and the steak and baked potato was not even edible. While paying with a credit card at our table she asks” do you need a pen”.
The food, though. Oh, so good. Almost made it worth coping with an inexperienced server.

Server couldn't explain 3 or 4 of the menu items I asked about, my wife asked what the soup of the day and the desert of the day were and the server had to leave both times to ask, and when finished she brought the bill, I gave her my card, and when she returned the bill had been revised going up by around $15. Oh, and heaven forbid your drinks need refilled. You will be waiting.
I've debated posting such a review based on bad service, and after careful consideration I realize that the service provided is part of the restaurant and deserves review. I hate that what could have been a wonderful dining experience was made lackluster by one server.
Definitely will not return!
Food was exemplary, decor and atmosphere phenomenal, service - not so much.
Have had a ribeye, steak sandwich carb free ( w out he bread ) and a salad all were delicious and the new restaurant is beautiful!!
Took my family in for dinner and was impressed! The ambiance was so lovely, you forget that you're actually in an airport. Front row seating to planes coming in is quite a plus, too! My partner and I had the ribeye, which was perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. Also, I was happy to see there was a children's menu, something that seems to be disappearing from every other restaurant. The dessert display case taunted us the entire meal, so we ended up ordering the chocolate fudge cake. It came out as big as my head! Fudgy, moist cake with thick buttercream frosting and chocolate shavings. Truly a "diamond in the rough" type of restaurant!
